It’s almost here. Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor isn’t expected by many to be a great fight, but there’s no denying the intrigue behind the August 26 battle.
Mayweather is arguably the greatest boxer of his generation. McGregor has dominated UFC and is ready to make the rare transition. They are the biggest draw in each of their respective sports, and they are meeting in a cross-sport matchup that was previously deemed an absurd proposition. Maybe it’s still an absurd proposition, but it’s unprecedented. It’s good fun. It’s weird. And it’s a spectacle you probably don’t want to miss, simply because you may never see something of this magnitude again.
