After starting 0-3, the Houston Texans (3-3) have won three consecutive games and are trending in the right direction. The Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) have lost two games in a row and are heading in the opposite direction.
Both teams meet in a matchup of AFC South teams — one that could determine first place — as Week 7 action continues on Sunday afternoon.

The long-term status of running back Leonard Fournette and his hamstring injury remains up in the air. After many initially expected Fournette to miss just a few games, he will now reportedly remain out through the Jaguars’ bye week and return after, although there is no guarantee if the injury does or doesn’t act up again.
The Jaguars acquired running back Carlos Hyde from the Cleveland Browns this week in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick. Hyde has run for 900+ yards over the past two seasons. Although Hyde has failed to break 100 rushing yards in a game this season, he has five touchdowns — though none in the past two games.
Houston will be without right guard Zach Fulton (ankle). Fulton is one of the Texans’ better pass blockers, and one of the strengths of an offensive line that has been a disaster at times attempting to protect Deshaun Watson this season.
Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, though, got some good news. Although he was never expected to miss any time, Nuk was removed from the injury report with a foot injury — a dreaded injury that he has played through, and been productive playing through as well.
