
On Saturday afternoon, the San Antonio Spurs will play the Charlotte Hornets (at home) in Texas.
The Spurs are coming off a 136-131 loss to the Denver Nuggets (without Victor Wembanyama).

For Saturday’s game, the team has announced that he will be back in the starting lineup.
Underdog NBA wrote: “Victor Wembanyama (ankle) available to play Saturday.”

Wembanyama is in the middle of his third season as an NBA player.
He is averaging 24.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 blocks per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 51 games.
The NBA wrote (on March 8): “From French teenage prodigy to Kia NBA Rookie of the Year, and now one of the league’s brightest shining superstars… Victor Wembanyama’s path has been nothing short of remarkable.”

The Spurs have been unable to return to the NBA playoffs since 2019.
That said, their luck will change this year, as they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 48-18 record in 66 games.
Over their last ten games, the Spurs have gone 8-2 (and they are 25-7 at home in San Antonio).
Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot wrote: “Dylan Harper will miss his 12th game of the season with the right calf contusion. Harper has played in 16 straight games before having to miss today. The 65-game limit isn’t required for rookie awards like All-Rookie teams.”

The Hornets are the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 32-33 record in 65 games.
They have won two in a row (and eight out of their last ten).
