College football fans are going through a bit of a withdrawal as there are no games on TV today. In fact, there are no college football games on the CFB schedule until Thursday, January 8, 2026.

The Google machine tells us fans are all curious about when the College Football Playoff resumes as well as the upcoming bowl schedule. Here’s the bad news first, as the bowl schedule has ended with the exception of the two remaining College Football Playoff bowls.

Fans can watch the next college football game on January 8, as Ole Miss battles Miami in the Fiesta Bowl at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN. Next up is the Peach Bowl which features a Big Ten clash between Oregon and Indiana on January 9, at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

All things are leading to the national championship on Monday, January 19. Sadly, there are only three remaining college football games before a long offseason.

Hopefully, fans tuned into a thrilling FCS Championship on Monday, January 5, as Montana State topped Illinois State in an overtime thriller. It marks the only college football game for a few days until the CFP schedule resumes with the Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, January 9.

College Football Odds: Indiana Is the National Championship Favorite
