College Football Football Fans Rooting for Another Thrilling Game as Indiana Takes on Oregon in Peach Bowl

Ole Miss and Miami kicked off the College Football Playoff semifinal games with a thriller. Fans are hoping for a similar outcome as Oregon takes on Indiana in the Peach Bowl.

Ole Miss’ magical run finally came to an end as Miami quarterback Carson Beck’s game-winning touchdown run ended the Rebels’ season. Miami has also had an improbable run as the final at-large team to reach the College Football Playoff when the rankings were released ahead of the postseason.

Heading into the Peach Bowl, Indiana remains the lone undefeated team in college football. Head coach Curt Cignetti has transformed an Indiana program who was perennially at the bottom of the Big Ten standings into a college football power. Cignetti has taken advantage of both the transfer portal and NIL era to help make Indiana competitive.

“Every move that I made, after I left Alabama, prepared me for this moment and also prepared me for the changes that have taken place in college football since I was an assistant coach,” Cignetti told ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg ahead of the team’s rematch against Oregon. “That’s where the recruiting coordinator experience came into play.”
