Justin Rose's wife, Kate Rose, has a lot of faith in the Masters contender.

Few people have more faith in Justin Rose than wife, Kate Rose. Her faith is once again being put to the test as Justin is in contention to win his first Masters.

Justin has been on the losing end of two Masters playoffs. The 45-year-old golfer could be headed for a third.

With just a few holes remaining, Justin is fighting Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young and others to win the Masters. During a June 2025, interview with “This Is Why Golf,” Kate was asked who she would trust for a winning putt if her life depended on the outcome.

Justin’s wife stood by her man explaining why her husband is a clutch golfer.

“Oh, I’d take Justin,” Kate explained. “I mean, I’m so boringly loyal, but I’d only choose him in a really high-pressure (situation). … Yeah, I think under high pressure, Ryder Cups winning putt, I mean.

“… I always say, whenever there’s a big crowd, I’m like, oh yeah, hold it. There’s enough people, he’ll hold it. Yhe loves, he’s a Leo the Lion, like he’s a July,” Kate added.

“Yeah, you have to be, to be a competitor. You have to love the crowd, you have to love the pressure. The more pressure, the better he plays.”

Here’s what you need to know about Justin and his wife, Kate.

Justin Rose’s Wife, Kate Rose, Was One of the First People to Congratulate Rory McIlroy at Masters

Justin has unfortunately been on the losing end of two Masters playoffs. Despite her husband’s loss, Kate was one of the first people to congratulate Rory after winning his first Masters.

“There was some article somewhere (saying) like, ‘who’s the mystery woman that was hugging Rory?’ It turned out to be Kate. That was pretty funny,” Justin explained in April 2025, media session, per The Mirror.

“Listen, I think in the moment you realize what it means to everybody involved. You realize what it means to other families, what they must be feeling. You’re a part of the moment.”

Justin Rose Has Lost 2 Masters Playoffs

The challenge is Justin has been one of the most successful golfers at Augusta National. Ahead of the 2026 Masters, Justin discussed his takeaways from losing the 2025 Masters playoff.

“I think for me I’m very aware that I’ve been close here,” Rose told reporters on April 6. “I’m very aware that I’ve had tough, tough losses here. I also am aware that I enjoy this place. So I don’t want to sort of like — I don’t want to feel that those three second-place finishes need to create a different sort of feeling for me.

“I can’t control the outcome. I think last year in the playoff, I felt like I learned from 2017, and I felt like I played a much better playoff than I did previously. So I kind of adapted and learned. I knew what was coming. I did the right things. I executed. I made two good swings, made a reasonable putt, I thought. So, yeah, I did everything that I could do. So I can kind of live with that in a way.”
