Katherine Fitzpatrick on PGA Tour Wives: ‘The Girls Are Very Supportive of Each Other’
During the Masters, Katherine provided fans with a behind-the-scenes look at Augusta National. This included a hot take about not being a fan of the pimento cheese sandwiches, while endorsing the new Masters candy bar.
Katherine opened up about having a community with the other wives and partners of PGA Tour golfers.
“We’re very lucky; it’s a nice community,” Katherine explained to Town & Country. “Everyone’s very understanding of what each other [are] going through. Golf is a very singular sport. It’s not like football where you have all the football wives and all the husbands are on the same team. It’s very individual.
“Everyone’s kind of experienced the highs and lows of golf, and is there for each other. Ever since being out here, I’ve had really just nothing but positive relationships, which has been really nice because I think you never really know what you’re going to [feel],” Katherine added.
“It’s a competitive sport, but the girls are very supportive of each other and kind, which makes a big difference. And welcoming—I felt welcomed. The majority of our time during the year is on the road, so I see these girls a lot.”
