When Tiger Woods hit the half-century mark on December 30, the world’s most famous golfer did so with relative quiet–public well-wishes, social media nods, and tributes from across sports circles.

But the real celebration is still to come. On January 14, Woods is set to host a private, elegant blow-out at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida. This isn’t your typical celebrity birthday party; it’s an exclusive, A-list affair with its own title sponsor, a live concert, a curated menu inspired by golf lore, and a deeper purpose that goes far beyond marking another year.

The event, officially named “RED: Celebrating Legacy presented by EY US,” is being organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the educational nonprofit he launched three decades ago with his late father, Earl Woods.

A Guest List Fit for Icons

This birthday celebration will draw roughly 300 guests from Tiger’s wide network of friends, family, professional colleagues and business connections.

Among those confirmed or expected to attend are fellow PGA Tour star Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, two figures deeply woven into Woods’s career.

From outside the golf world, notable attendees include Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, whose Strategic Sports Group helped fuel a significant investment in the modern PGA Tour landscape.

There are additional buzzed-about names, including Woods’ girlfriend Vanessa Trump, circulating in speculation, though not all have been officially confirmed.

It’s worth noting that while the party boasts elite names, organizers intentionally kept the gathering more intimate rather than sprawling. TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court made it clear the goal was to honor individuals who have supported Woods’ personal and philanthropic vision.

“We definitely could have made it bigger,” Court said. “But we also wanted it to be intimate so that we could celebrate people that throughout the years have made tremendous commitments to Tiger’s vision of what could be possible in the future.”

Entertainment, Dress Code, Menu

The musical highlight of the night will be a performance by Bon Jovi, adding a major entertainment coup to the already impressive guest roster.

Bon Jovi’s appearance reflects the elevated scale of the event; it’s not just a birthday dinner, it’s a party with production value and star power recognizing Woods’s cultural footprint.

Unlike a casual weekend gathering, the invitation specifies a dress code encouraging a “touch of red.”

That choice is intentionally symbolic. Woods famously dons red on the final Sunday of golf tournaments–a signature move that fans worldwide associate with his competitive fire, and the color also inspired his personal lifestyle and apparel brand known as Sun Day Red.

According to the New York Post, the event’s menu “will seek inspiration from the five Masters champions’ dinners that Woods previously hosted, which included steak and chicken fajitas, stuffed jalapeños, porterhouse steaks, crab cakes, cheeseburgers, French fries and milkshakes.”

TGR Foundation Anniversary

The celebration also doubles as a fundraising kick-off for the TGR Foundation’s 30th anniversary campaign. The gala serves as the formal launch of a year-long effort to expand the foundation’s educational and youth-focused initiatives, many of which have been active for three decades.

Court has emphasized that the gathering is about honoring Tiger’s legacy and building momentum for future impact, and the nonprofit has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $50 million tied directly to the campaign and this milestone year. Proceeds from the evening will support expansion of the foundation’s TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education, career-connected programs, and wellness activities to students from underserved communities.
