Tiger Woods is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Sept. 8 in the DUI case. It ties to his rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida.

The 15-time major winner was arrested on March 27, 2026, after his Land Rover struck a truck at high speed and rolled onto its side on a residential street on Jupiter Island.

He failed a field sobriety test, blowing a 0.00 on the breathalyzer, but refused a urine test.

Officers found two hydrocodone pills in his pocket and he was booked into the Martin County jail that night.

Woods has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence with damage to property or person. He also faces a charge tied to his refusal to submit to testing. His attorney, Douglas Duncan, has handled every hearing so far. The golfer waived arraignment and demanded a jury trial.

The Sept. 8 date follows several postponements. The hearing was initially expected around April 17, then set for May 5, moved to July 10 and pushed again after an Aug. 4 hearing.

Prosecutors have used the discovery period to pursue records connected to the crash. A conviction carries potential jail time, fines, probation, or mandatory DUI education, depending on how the case proceeds.

Tiger Woods Has Spent the Summer Standing by Vanessa Trump

Woods has kept a low profile since returning to the States in June, a decision that partly traces to his girlfriend’s health. Vanessa Trump announced on May 20 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had undergone a procedure that week.

Woods briefly returned from Switzerland after her announcement and attended her daughter Kai’s high school graduation later that month.

On June 13, Trump posted a further update, saying she had spent four weeks recovering from surgery and was about to begin a second stage of treatment. She has not issued a public health update since.

Tiger Woods Might Soon Make a Golf Course Appearance

After the Sept. 8 hearing, Woods’ next scheduled public moment is the Nexus Cup. His foundation’s amateur golf event is set for September 14-15 at Liberty National Golf Club in New York, with an evening event at NEXUS Club New York.

Proceeds benefit the TGR Foundation. Woods typically hits balls for guests and takes part in meet-and-greets as the event’s host, though whether he attends this year remains unconfirmed given how deliberately he has stayed out of public view.

Beyond those two dates, his schedule and any further public appearances remain unclear.
