The Mountain West Conference is a rapidly growing powerhouse in NCAA Men’s Basketball. Though not a ‘Power Five’ conference, schools from the Mountain West Conference repeatedly go up against university teams from the conferences which garner more media attention. This year, the 12 Mountain West teams vying for the Conference Championship Title are also competing for seeds in the NCAA March Madness Men’s Basketball Tournament – which is set to commence later this month following all conference tournaments and championship games.

The Mountain West Conference will hold the 2026 Mountain West Men’s Basketball Tournament to determine who takes home the Mountain West Conference Title between March 10 – March 14, 2026. Here are a few basic details about the Mountain West tournament and location:

  • Dates of Tournament: March 11, 2026 – March 14, 2026
  • Championship Game: March 14, 2026 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET

  • Game 1 – No. 8 seed vs No. 9 seed, 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET
