On Saturday night, the Atlanta Braves will continue their series with the Colorado Rockies in Denver.

The Braves are coming off an 8-6 win on Friday.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, the Braves announced that they had made a roster move.

The Braves wrote (via X): “The #Braves today selected RHP Carlos Carrasco to the major league roster after optioning RHP Anthony Molina to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night’s game.”

Social Media Reacts

Here’s what people were saying about the move on social media:

@BravesLiz: “I get it…but I don’t have to like it.”

@Burnerbravess: “Molina was fine last night i don’t understand this lmao”

@bmichea1: “Due to his MLB service time, Molina has options & can be sent back down to the minors. After 2 innings last night, he wouldn’t be available to pitch until Monday, at best, so he’s sent down & a fresh arm is called up. Braves starters don’t go deep into games so you need pen arms.”

@ChoppinBravos: “They just need to hire cookie on the coaching staff so dude can stop flying across country every other say day 😂”

@BravesSufferer: “So carrasco is the new Jesse Chavez?”
