They are coming off a 7-2 win over the Washington Nationals on Thursday.

For Friday’s game, the Braves announced that they have scratched Harris from the lineup.
Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Game wrote: “#Braves CF Michael Harris (quad tightness) has been scratched from Friday’s lineup. MGR Walt Weiss said he’s day-to-day and they don’t anticipate it being an IL situation.”
Harris is currently batting .318 with 27 hits, six home runs, 16 RBI’s, 11 runs and two stolen bases in 24 games.
He has ten hits and three home runs over the last five games.

Harris was picked in the third round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
He won the Rookie of The Year Award in 2022.

Harris has spent all five years of his career playing for Atlanta.
He is batting .275 with 79 home runs, 271 RBI’s, 275 runs and 72 stolen bases in 546 career games.
Missing Friday’s game is even more disappointing because of how hot he had been over the last week.

The Braves are currently the top team in the National League East with an 18-8 record in 26 games.
They are 8-4 in their first 12 games at Truist Park.
After three games against the Phillies, the Braves will play their next series on Tuesday when they remain at home to host the Detroit Tigers.
Despite missing the 2025 playoffs, they look like they are once again a contender.
