The Atlanta Braves got things back on track against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday, as they defeated them by a 2-0 final score. This win was needed for the Braves, as they lost each of their previous three games against the Minnesota Twins before it.

Now, the Braves will be looking to build off their win against the White Sox as they begin their series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Atlanta is making some changes to their lineup for their series opener against the Brewers, and one involves Ozzie Albies.

Braves Moving Ozzie Albies to Fifth in Batting Order

Albies will be in a new spot in the Braves’ batting order against the Brewers, as he will be batting fifth. This comes after the four-time All-Star batted fourth for Atlanta against the White Sox in their most recent game.

With Albies moving down to fifth in the Braves’ batting order, Michael Harris II will be taking over the fourth spot in their lineup. This comes after Harris batted sixth for Atlanta against the White Sox.

Here is the Braves’ full batting order for their series opener against the Brewers.

Ronald Acuna Jr. RF

Drake Baldwin C

Matt Olson 1B

Michael Harris II CF

Ozzie Albies 2B

Mauricio Dubon SS

Dominic Smith DH

Austin Riley 3B

Mike Yastrzemski LF

Albies Looking to Keep His Hitting Streak Alive for the Braves

Albies went 1-for-4 in the Braves’ most recent game against the White Sox. With that, he has extended his hitting streak to four games and will be looking to change it to five with another solid game against Milwaukee.

Albies has been solid for the Braves throughout this season, and the truth can be seen in his stats. In 128 games with Atlanta this season, he has posted 20 home runs, 65 RBI, and a .251 batting average. It will be interesting to see how much of an impact he can make for Atlanta batting fifth for them against the Brewers from here.
