Atlanta Braves Announce Trade With Athletics

Right as their game with the Mariners started, the Braves announced that they had made a trade with the Athletics.
The Braves wrote (via X): “The #Braves tonight acquired cash considerations from the Athletics in exchange for C Jonah Heim.”
Heim began his career (as a rookie) with the Athletics in 2020.
He then spent five years with the Texas Rangers before joining the Braves this season.
The 2023 All-Star is currently batting .231 with nine hits, one home run, eight RBI’s and four runs in 12 games.
