On Thursday night, the Atlanta Braves will finish off their three-game series against the Miami Marlins at Truist Park.
Most recently, the Braves won 4-1 on Wednesday.
Shortstop Ha-Seong Kim has not appeared in the first two games of the series.

Ahead of the series finale, the Atlanta Braves announced their starting lineup.

For the third consecutive game, Ha-Seong Kim is not in the team’s starting lineup.
This comes after the Braves announced he was reinstated to the active roster prior to the series against Miami.
On Aug. 3 the Braves announced via X: “The #Braves today reinstated INF Ha-Seong Kim and C Sean Murphy from the injured list and designated INF Jorge Mateo for assignment. The club also optioned RHP James Karinchak and RHP JR Ritchie to Triple-A Gwinnett. OF Lane Thomas, RHP Tyler Mahle and LHP Brent Suter were all reported to Atlanta.”
Aside from being away from the team’s starting lineup, Kim has not come off the bench in either of the first two games this series.
After signing a one-year, $20 million contract, Kim has struggled this season. He’s currently batting .068 with five hits, four runs, three RBIs, 22 strikeouts and one stolen base in 27 games this season.
Braves Right Now
After winning the first two games of the series, the Atlanta Braves are on a seven-game winning streak. They have gone 8-2 over their last 10 games and now hold an 8.5 game lead over the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East.
Left-hander Martín Pérez will aim to keep Atlanta’s winning streak going as he makes his 18th start this season. Pérez has a 7-6 record with a 3.24 ERA in 97.1 innings. The left-hander is coming off of one of his best performances this season as he did not allow a run against the Washington Nationals in seven innings.
Marlins Right Now
Meanwhile, the Miami Marlins have dropped to 58-57 on the season as they have gone 6-4 over their last 10 games. The Marlins are now three games back in the race for the last Wild Card spot in the National League.
Right-hander Janson Junk will aim to get the Marlins back on track as he’s expected to make his 16th start this season. Junk enters Thursday’s game with a 5-6 record and a 4.58 ERA in 78.2 innings.
