For Sunday’s game, the Braves have announced their starting lineup.

Underdog MLB wrote: “Braves 5/3 M. Dubón CF D. Baldwin DH O. Albies 2B M. Olson 1B A. Riley 3B E. White LF J. Heim C J. Mateo SS J. Azocar RF S. Strider SP”

Harris will not be in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale.

Harrison Smajovits of Braves OnSI wrote: “Azocar will start in right field with Acuña injured. No Michael Harris in the lineup today #Braves”

Harris is currently batting .321 with 34 hits, seven home runs, 22 RBI’s, 13 runs and two stolen bases in 32 games.

He had recently gotten hurt (but was not placed on the IL).

Mark Bowman of MLB.com wrote (on April 30): “Michael Harris II will DH most of this road trip if his quad doesn’t get any worse. But he could go on the IL, if there’s not any improvement”

The 2022 Rookie of The Year is in his fifth MLB season (all with the Braves).

Harris is coming off another productive season where he batted .249 with 152 hits, 20 home runs, 55 runs, 86 RBI’s and 20 stolen bases in 160 games.

Fans React To Sunday’s Lineup For Braves

Here’s what fans were saying about Sunday’s lineup:

@jase1129: “Might look like a Spring Training lineup to some but I think we can still win today.”

@SportsTalkATL: “Absolute cinema”

@HardcoreBraves: “#BravesCountry as expected Dubon leads off and Azocar is in, lets get a sweep today #Braves”

@ChikinChop: “This lineup can play in Colorado. Ideally we’d have Mike and Dom back in there by the time they get to LA though”

@gbb70: “Of the 162 lineups the Braves are going to trot out this season, this is certainly going to be one of them”

Looking Ahead For The Braves

The Braves are at the top of their division with a 24-10 record in 34 games, so there is good reason for them to be cautious heading into the series finale.

After the Rockies, they have two more road trips starting with the Seattle Mariners (and ending in Los Angeles with the Dodgers).
