ATL Manager Makes Heartfelt Statement
Following the game, manager Walt Weiss made nice comments about playing in Williamsport.
Weiss: “I think it’s a reminder for the big leaguers, why they started playing the game… It’s easy to forget when you’re doing it for a living… The stakes are high, the pressure is high. Sometimes you need those reminders of why you started to play the game, and I think today was a perfect example of that. It’s a great event that Major League Baseball puts on.”
