The Dodgers have been without Mookie Betts since April 4.
That said, they got a positive update ahead of their series (at home) with the San Francisco Giants.
Katie Woo of The Athletic wrote (on May 9): “Mookie Betts will travel back to LA tomorrow (Sunday). Assuming there is no lingering soreness, the Dodgers will look to activate him Monday ahead of a four-game set against the Giants.”

Betts had been batting .179 with five hits, two home runs seven RBI’s and seven runs in his first eight games of the 2026 season.
The future Hall of Famer is in his seventh year playing for the Dodgers.
He has helped lead the franchise to three World Series Championships.
Woo also added: “Dave Roberts said postgame he expects Mookie Betts to be in the starting lineup Monday.”
Before the Dodgers, Betts had spent the first six years of his career with the Boston Red Sox (where he also won a World Series title).
The eight-time MLB All-Star is coming off a year where he batted .258 with 152 hits, 20 home runs, 82 RBI’s, 95 runs and eight stolen bases in 150 games.
There is no question that getting Betts back in the lineup will be a huge boost for the Dodgers.

Without Betts, the Dodgers have still remained one of the elite teams in the MLB.
They come into Sunday as the first-place team in the National League West with a 24-15 record in 39 games.
Over their last ten games, the Dodgers have gone 4-6 (but they are still 13-7 in 20 games at home).
Following four games with the Giants, they will visit Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels on Friday.
