The 31-year-old will be an intriguing free agent to hit the market this winter.
Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Game wrote (on April 14): “Dominic Smith has played 14 games and now has 12 RBI. If he can keep that ratio up, he might just work out.”

Smith spent the first six years of his career with the Mets.
During the 2020 season, he came in 13th in National League MVP voting.
Following the 2022 season, Smith signed a deal with the Washington Nationals.

Smith also had stops with the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants (before the Braves).
He has played 10 seasons at the MLB level.
