On Monday evening, the New York Yankees will open up a series with the Texas Rangers (in Arlington).
The Yankees are coming off a series where they took two out of three from the Astros in Houston.
Before Monday’s game, the team announced that they had called up Jasson Domínguez for his season debut.
The Yankees wrote (via X): “Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees recalled OF Jasson Domínguez (#24) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.”

The Yankees will waste no time getting Domínguez acclimated, as he is in the lineup (and batting sixth).
Greg Joyce of The New York Post wrote: “Jasson Domínguez is in the Yankees lineup tonight at DH, batting sixth.”
Domínguez is coming off a season where he batted .257 with ten home runs, 47 RBI’s, 58 runs and 23 stolen bases in 123 games.
He is in his third year (all with New York).

The Yankees had been in the middle of an eight-game winning streak before losing to the Astros on Sunday.
They are still the top team in the American League East with an 18-10 record in 28 games.
After three games against the Rangers, the Yankees will return home to host the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night in the Bronx.
