On Thursday afternoon, the New York Yankees are playing the Texas Rangers (at home) for the finale of their three-game series.
During the game, Jasson Domínguez exited with a scary injury.

Domínguez came into the day batting .200 with six hits, one home run, four RBI’s and three runs in his first eight games.
The 23-year-old is in his fourth MLB season (all with the Yankees).
Following the injury, the team announced the latest update.
Via Bryan Hoch of MLB.com: “The Yankees said Jasson Dominguez was examined by team physician Dr. Chris Ahmad at Yankee Stadium and underwent an initial concussion assessment. He has been placed in concussion protocol and will continue to be monitored and evaluated over the next several days. Additionally, Dominguez is undergoing an MRI on his left shoulder at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.”
Clint Frazier Reacts To Scary Injury

One person to react to the news was former Yankee player Clint Frazier.
He wrote (via X): “wow. that looks wayyyyyy too familiar for me.”
Here’s what people were saying in response to Frazier’s post:
@djheat42: “I thought the same thing actually. Every concussion is different. How would you recommend a player to come back safely? Considering you and Rizzo played through the same injury.”
@JohnnyMcMa60482: “I am not going to lie, I instantly thought of you as well!”
Bryan Hoch: “Clint Frazier reacts to the Jasson Dominguez injury:”
@_dactyl_: “I immediately thought of you when I saw this.”

Frazier was the fifth pick in the 2013 MLB Draft.
He spent the first five seasons of his career with the Yankees.
Following New York, Frazier finished his seven-year career with the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox.
