He has spent both of his seasons in the MLB with the Yankees.
Last year (as a rookie), the 30-year-old batted .202 with two home runs, 11 RBI’s, five runs and one stolen base in 40 games.

Escarra had come into Wednesday with zero hits in his first three games of the 2026 season.

With their loss, the Yankees dropped to 8-3 in 11 games, which still has them at the top of the American League East.
After Thursday’s game against the Athletics, the Yankees will head to Florida for a series with the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday.
