After their season came to an end, Heliot Ramos made a post to Instagram (on October 13).
He wrote: “The season ends. The hunger stays. ⚾️🔥 Thank you to my teammates, my family, and everyone who showed up for me along the way. Taking the memories, the lessons, and the drive to come back stronger. Proud to carry Puerto Rico with me every time I step on the field. 🇵🇷 More to come.”
Ramos did not play in the final game of the season.
He batted .198 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in 38 games for the Yankees.
The 27-year-old also appeared in one MLB playoff game.
Looking At Ramos

Ramos spent the first 4.5 seasons of his career with the San Francisco Giants.
He made the 2024 MLB All-Star Game when he batted .269 with 22 home runs and 72 RBIs in 121 games.
The Giants traded him to the Yankees during the middle of the 2026 season.
The Yankees wrote (via X) on August 3: “The New York Yankees today announced that they have acquired outfielder Heliot Ramos from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for minor league infielder Kaeden Kent and left-handed pitcher Henry Lalane.”
Looking At The Yankees

The Yankees had another strong regular season where they were the second-place team in the American League East with a 93-68 record in 161 games.
That said, the franchise has been unable to win a World Series title since the 2009 season when Derek Jeter, CC Sabathia and Alex Rodriguez were still on the roster.
