On Wednesday night, the New York Yankees will continue their series with the Texas Rangers (at home) in the Bronx.
They are coming off a 7-4 victory on Tuesday.
Following Tuesday’s game, the Yankees announced that they had optioned Elmer Rodriguez to Triple-A.

The Yankees have now announced that they are calling up Yerry de los Santos.
They wrote (via X): “Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees recalled RHP Yerry de los Santos (#73) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.”
Santos is in his second season playing for the Yankees.
He pitched in one game last month.

Before the Yankees, Santos spent the first two seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
