New York Yankees Announce Starting Lineup For Giants Game

On Wednesday evening, the New York Yankees will be in San Francisco to take on the Giants for Opening Day.

For the game, the Yankees have officially announced their starting lineup.

All-Star Max Fried will be on the mound.

The Yankees starting lineup has been relayed by Underdog MLB.

Looking At New York

The Yankees are coming off another strong season where they were the second-place team in the American League East with a 94-68 record.

They beat the Boston Red Sox in the Wild Card round (before losing to the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS).

Following the Giants, the Yankees will remain on the road to visit the Seattle Mariners on March 30.

They will then head home to host the Miami Marlins with a series starting on April 3 in New York.

Looking At SF Giants

The Giants are coming off a year where they missed the MLB playoffs with an 81-81 record.

They last made the playoffs during the 2021 season.

That said, the Giants still have a talented roster with players such as Rafael Devers and Logan Webb.

Following the Yankees, the Giants will head on the road for a series with the San Diego Padres that starts on March 30.
