On Tuesday night, the San Francisco Giants will play the Los Angeles Dodgers (at home) for the first game of their series.
They are coming off a 3-0 loss to the Nationals in Washington, D.C.
SF Giants Announce Roster Move
Before Tuesday’s game, the Giants announced that they made several roster moves.
One of those moves involved calling up Eric Haase.
He is currently batting .250 with two home runs and eight RBI’s in his first nine games of the Triple-A season.
The Giants wrote (via X): “The #SFGiants made the following roster moves today: • C Daniel Susac placed on the 10-day injured list with right elbow ulnar neuritis (retro to April 20). • C Eric Haase (#18) selected from Triple-A Sacramento. • RHP José Buttó transferred to the 60-day Injured List.”
Haase’s MLB Career
Haase was picked in the seventh round of the 2011 MLB Draft.
He is coming off a season where he appeared in 30 games for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Over part of eight MLB seasons, Haase has also had stints with the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians.
He is batting .228 with 48 home runs, 160 RBI’s, 134 runs and six stolen bases in 383 career games.
His best season came in 2021 when he hit 22 home runs for the Tigers.

Giants Right Now
The Giants come into Tuesday’s game as the fourth-place team in the National League West with a 9-13 record in 22 games.
They are 3-7 in the ten games they have played at home in San Francisco.
Following the Dodgers, the Giants will play their next series on Friday when they host the Miami Marlins.
The Giants are coming off a season where they went 81-81, which had them miss the MLB playoffs for the fourth straight season.
