Also on Monday, the Angels organization released Hunter Strickland from his minor league deal (via MLB.com).

Strickland had gone 0-2 with a 13.14 ERA in ten Triple-A games this season.
The 37-year-old pitched for the Angels in 2024 and 2025.
Strickland’s MLB Career

Strickland was picked in the 18th round of the 2007 MLB Draft.
He spent the first five seasons of his career playing for the San Francisco Giants.
In that span, Strickland went 14-14 with a 2.91 ERA in 253 games.
The Giants also won the World Series in 2014.

Strickland then had stints with the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Washington Nationals, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners (and Angels) over 11 seasons.
In 2019, he won another World Series with the Nationals.
Over 499 career games, Strickland has gone 26-25 with a 3.39 ERA.
