Corey Heim is set to compete for 23XI Racing on a part-time Cup schedule in 2026.

Corey Heim is one of the up-and-coming stars in NASCAR. Last year, the 23-year-old captured the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series championship after winning 12 races, setting the record for the most wins in a single season.

Heim had also competed in the Cup Series on a part-time basis for 23XI Racing. On Friday, February 6, 23XI Racing announced Heim is returning to the team in 2026 for another slate of part-time Cup entries.

Heim will pilot the #67 Toyota for 12 races in the 2026 season. His first race will be in the season-opening Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 15.

23XI Racing Announces Corey Heim’s Part-Time Schedule For 2026

23XI Racing, co-owned by basketball legend Michael Jordan and Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin, announced on Friday that Heim is returning for 12 races in 2026. It’s an extension of Heim’s presence with the team last year as he attempted five races in 2025.

In a statement released by the team, Hamlin said he believes the future is bright for Heim and wants to make sure they do what’s needed to make him fully prepared for the day he moves to the Cup Series on a full-time basis.

“We’re continuing to stick to our plan and taking a long-term approach, while also remaining focused on what is collectively best for our organization and our partners as we look to continue being a competitive, winning organization each weekend,” Hamlin added.

In the same team statement, Heim expressed his excitement for the opportunity to continue racing for 23XI Racing on a part-time basis. The Georgia native looks forward to continuing to progress as a driver with the organization in 2026.

“Every driver wants to race as much as possible, but I’m fully committed to the approach that I am taking with the team. I look forward to more Cup races this year and the opportunity to grow and expand my race-craft on and off the track,” Heim added.

Heim’s 12-race schedule includes the Daytona 500, Kansas, Texas, Charlotte, Nashville, San Diego, Chicagoland, Indianapolis, Daytona, Darlington, Charlotte, and Homestead-Miami.

Last season, Heim attempted five races with 23XI Racing, but only started four of them after failing to qualify for the Chicago Street Race. Heim competed at Kansas, Nashville, Richmond, and Bristol.

Heim posted a best finish of sixth at Bristol last September. His next-best finish came at Kansas with a 13th-place effort at the 1.5-mile track in May.

Corey Heim Posted Record-Setting Season in the Truck Series in 2025

Corey Heim secured the 2025 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series title in dominant fashion last season. Piloting the #11 Tricon Garage Toyota, Heim tallied a record-breaking 12 wins in a single season. It was his first career championship in the series.

Heim nabbed victories at Daytona, Las Vegas, Texas, Charlotte, Lime Rock Park, Watkins Glen, Richmond, Darlington, New Hampshire, Charlotte Roval, Martinsville, and Phoenix.

Heim fended off Ty Majeski, Kaden Honeycutt, and Tyler Ankrum in the championship race at Phoenix to win the title. He led 100 of the 161 laps in the race en route to victory.

Heim will continue to race in the Truck Series for Tricon Garage in 2026 on a part-time basis. However, his schedule has yet to be announced.
