The Celtics will be without Nikola Vucevic and John Tonje.

Jayson Tatum is not on the injury report after making his return on Friday night.

The superstar forward finished his season debut with 15 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and one steal while shooting 6/16 from the field and 3/8 from three-point range in 27 minutes of playing time.

Via Kieth Smith of Spotrac (on Saturday): “Nikola Vucevic is the only player on the Celtics injury report for tomorrow at the Cavaliers. He’s out with a right ring finger fracture. Jayson Tatum is off the injury report entirely. Jordan Walsh is also off the injury report after missing last game due to illness.”

Donovan Mitchell and Dean Wade are both probable, while Jaylon Tyson is questionable.

Mitchell will likely make his return to action after missing each of the last four games.

The Celtics come into play as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-21 record in 63 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games (and are 21-11 in 32 games on the road).

Following the Cavs, the Celtics will play their next game on Tuesday when they visit the San Antonio Spurs.

Sean Grande wrote: “Celtics go for a stunning season sweep of the Cavs. They’ve never swept a Cleveland team with a winning record… …which the Cavs will have easily despite the 17-16 start. They’ve been the last seven weeks a top 10 offense and defense, or as my son would say, low-key fire.”

Meanwhile, the Cavs are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 39-24 record in 63 games.

They have won seven out of their last ten games (and two in a row).

Following the Celtics, the Cavs will play their next game on Monday when they remain in Ohio to host the Philadelphia 76ers.
