On Monday night, the Denver Nuggets will be in Oklahoma City to play the Thunder.
They are coming off a tough 142-103 loss (at home) to the New York Knicks.
During that game, All-Star point guard Jamal Murray left with an injury (and did not return).

Before Sunday’s game, ESPN’s Tim MacMahon announced an update on Murray.
MacMahon wrote: “Nuggets star G Jamal Murray is considered day to day after leaving Friday’s loss to the Knicks with an ankle injury, sources told ESPN. Expected to be listed as questionable for Monday’s game in OKC.”

Murray was the seventh pick in the 2016 NBA Draft out of Kentucky.
He is in the middle of a fantastic year with averages of 25.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.2 assists per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 43.1% from three-point range in 59 games.
The 29-year-old also made his first career All-Star Game.
Bennett Durando of The Denver Post added: “Nuggets were optimistic after Friday’s game that Murray had a mild ankle sprain and would be day-to-day, per sources. Team is flying to OKC without holding formal practice/media availability, so we won’t get to see what he looks like in the gym today.”

Nuggets Before Thunder Showdown

The Nuggets have had another solid season with a 39-25 record in 64 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
They have won five out of their last ten games (and are 22-12 on the road).
Following their showdown with OKC, the Nuggets will head back home to host Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.
Last season, the Thunder beat the Nuggets in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs (in seven games).

Despite dealing with injuries, the Thunder come into the matchup as the best team in the Western Conference with a 50-15 record in 65 games.
