Warriors’ Steph Curry Spotted With His Logo on ANTA Shoe Amid Free Agency

The sneaker saga surrounding Stephen Curry continues to deliver plot twists, and this one might be the most telling yet.

Just weeks after controversy erupted over Under Armour migrating nearly 500,000 Curry Brand Instagram followers to its main basketball account, Curry’s footwear future appeared uncertain, Sole Retriever reports. The split, which took shape in November, turned his “lifetime” situation into one of the most fascinating brand free agencies the NBA has seen. Since then, the Golden State Warriors star has rotated through multiple silhouettes, honoring peers and testing the market in real time.

Now, February has introduced a new development, and it centers on ANTA.

Curry Brand Logo Appears on ANTA Pair

Over All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, Curry trained alongside Sabrina Ionescu and Kyrie Irving, wearing a pair of ANTA Enclosion Type 2 sneakers. At first glance, that detail alone would not shock anyone. Curry has already worn ANTA models this season, including a special KT11 player edition honoring former teammate Klay Thompson’s lifetime deal.

What caught attention this time was the heel tab.

Photos and video circulating online showed Curry’s own Curry Brand logo stitched onto the ANTA shoe. That mark has never appeared on footwear produced outside the Under Armour umbrella. The placement immediately sparked speculation that ANTA has moved from interested party to serious finalist.

Sole Retriever reported in January that Curry has narrowed his options to three brands, with ANTA firmly in the mix. This latest sighting only strengthens that reporting.

ANTA Gains Momentum in Curry Sweepstakes

ANTA’s rise in the global basketball market adds context to the timing. The company appointed Irving as Chief Creative Officer, giving him broad influence over design and brand direction. That move elevated ANTA’s profile among NBA players and sneaker consumers alike.

Curry has not limited himself to one camp during his evaluation period. He has worn Nike, Adidas, Jordan, and ANTA during games, often spotlighting fellow stars such as Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards, Ionescu, Thompson, and the late Kobe Bryant, NBC Sports reports. He recently debuted Irving’s KAI 3 in Dallas after personally reaching out to ensure Irving felt comfortable with the gesture.

Still, placing his own logo on an ANTA model signals something different. That step moves beyond tribute. It suggests integration. And with this much action with ANTA so far, it’s hard to scoff at the idea that his might be Curry’s next landing spot.

Curry has embraced sneaker free agency with visible energy, turning pregame tunnel walks and warmups into headline moments. Yet he has also indicated the process will not stretch indefinitely. Reports have suggested he plans to narrow the rotation soon for performance consistency.

If that timeline holds, February could represent the beginning of the endgame.

ANTA continues to build momentum globally, including a reported $1.8 billion stake in PUMA that made it the largest shareholder in the brand. Adding Curry’s market presence would elevate that expansion dramatically.

For now, nothing has been finalized. But one detail stands out. Curry’s logo appeared on an ANTA shoe. In sneaker negotiations, branding rarely happens by accident.
