UPDATE: Warriors And Clippers Announce Surprising Injury Reports For Play-In Game

On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers will face off in Los Angeles for the play-in tournament.

For the game, both teams have announced their full injury reports.

Despite the aging veterans on both teams, they each come into the night looking mostly healthy.

Golden State Injury Report

The Warriors have ruled out Jimmy Butler, Moses Moody and Quinten Post.

No one else is on their injury report.

Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard wrote: “Warriors have a clean preliminary injury report for tomorrow’s 9/10 game vs. LAC. Steve Kerr said he expects everyone who’s left to be available. Steph Curry, Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingis won’t climb near 40 minutes. Looking at 10, 11-man rotation. C Quinten Post remains out.”

Los Angeles Injury Report

UPDATE: Jackson is available (h/t Underdog NBA).

UPDATE: Jackson is now probable. 

The Clippers have ruled out Yanic Konan Niederhauser and Bradley Beal.

Isaiah Jackson is questionable.

Everyone else will be available.

Warriors Right Now

The Warriors were the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-45 record.

That said, having Steph Curry on their roster gives them a real chance against any team in the NBA.

The two-time MVP finished his regular season with averages of 26.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 39.3% from three-point range in 43 games.

Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints wrote (on April 12): “The LA Clippers will host the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night at 7 PM PST. The winner of that game will advance to face the loser of Suns/Blazers on Friday night for the right to take on… the Oklahoma City Thunder.”

Clippers Ahead Of Wednesday

The Clippers are the ninth seed with a 42-40 record.

They also have an excellent chance against any team with a healthy Kawhi Leonard.

The two-time NBA Finals MVP finished the regular season with averages of 27.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 50.5% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range in 65 games.

The Clippers went 3-1 in four games against the Warriors this season.
