On Friday evening, the LA Clippers will be in Texas to play the San Antonio Spurs.
The Clippers are coming off a 130-107 victory over the Indiana Pacers (at home).
Darius Garland finished the victory with 12 points, four rebounds and eight assists while shooting 5/10 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 24 minutes of playing time.

Before Friday’s game, the Clippers announced that they will be without Garland for their showdown with the Spurs.

Garland was traded to the Clippers (via the Cleveland Cavaliers) last month.
He is averaging 17.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 28 games.
The 26-year-old was the fifth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Vanderbilt.

The Clippers come into play as the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 30-31 record in 61 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won six out of their last ten).
On the road, the Clippers have gone 14-18 in 32 games.
Following the Spurs, they will visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

On the other side of the matchup, the Spurs are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 45-17 record in 62 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won nine out of their last ten).
Following the Clippers, the Spurs will play their next game on Sunday when they host Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets.
