For Monday’s game, the Lakers could be without Smart, as he is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Smart is in the middle of his first year playing for the Lakers.
He is averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 39.9% from the field and 33.6% from three-point range in 60 games (53 starts).

The Lakers are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 46-25 record in 71 games.
They are in the middle of a nine-game winning streak.
Following the Pistons, the Lakers will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit the Indiana Pacers.

As for the Pistons, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 51-19 record in 70 games.
They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Following the Lakers, the Pistons will host the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
