On Monday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Texas to play the Dallas Mavericks.
The Timberwolves are coming off a 109-87 loss to the Detroit Pistons (at home).
Anthony Edwards did not play in the game.

For Monday’s game, the Timberwolves have announced that Edwards will be listed as questionable on the injury report.
Chris Hine of The Minnesota Star Tribune wrote: “Anthony Edwards listed as questionable tomorrow night, ramping up to play. Edwards need to play in every game from here on out to qualify for postseason awards.
Jaden McDaniels still out.”

Edwards is in the middle of his sixth season as a pro (all with the Timberwolves).
The former UGA star is currently averaging 29.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 40.2% from three-point range in 58 games.
Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic added: “Edwards upgraded to questionable. As we reported last night, all signs point to him returning tomorrow night”

The Timberwolves come into the night as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-29 record in 74 games.
They are 5-5 over their last ten games (and 20-15 in 35 games on the road).
Following the Mavs, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Thursday when they visit the Detroit Pistons in Michigan.

The Timberwolves have reached the Western Conference finals in each of the previous two seasons.
If they can be fully healthy for the NBA playoffs, they will have an excellent chance to make another deep run in 2026.

They are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 24-50 record in 74 games.
Over their last ten games, the Mavs have gone 3-7.
