The Phoenix Suns are getting healthy at the right time.
The NBA postseason is around the corner, and the Suns are preparing for what’s shaping up to be an NBA Play-In Tournament run.
If all goes right as the season closes out, the Suns will hold the Western Conference’s top Play-In seed, getting an opportunity to keep that number for the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
As the Suns prepare for their Tuesday night matchup against the Orlando Magic, they are bracing for the return of their veteran forward, Dillon Brooks.
On Monday night, the Suns revealed that Brooks would be back in the lineup.

The Suns will start Collin Gillespie, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Oso Ighodaro, and Devin Booker.
The Suns haven’t had Brooks in the lineup since their February 21 matchup against the Magic. At the time, Brooks checked in for seven minutes. He shot 2-7 from the field to score five points before checking out.
After getting diagnosed with a fractured hand, Brooks missed over one month of action. In the absence of Brooks this season, the Suns are 12-13.
Brooks is in the midst of his first season with the Suns. He was traded by the Houston Rockets after spending two years in Texas.
This year, Brooks has appeared in 50 games for the Suns. He is shooting 44.0% from the field and 34.3% from three, to average 20.9 points per game.
Brooks is also coming down with 3.7 rebounds per game and dishing out 1.8 assists per game. The forward is posting the best scoring stats of his nine-year career.
The Suns enter Tuesday’s action with a 42-33 record. They have won their last two games, but have gone just 4-6 over their last 10.
Currently, the Suns have a 3.0-game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers. They are slated to tip off against the Magic at 7 PM ET.
