Toronto Raptors Make Brandon Ingram Announcement Before Cavs Game

On Friday night, the Toronto Raptors will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in Canada for Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.

The Raptors are coming off a 125-120 loss in Game 5.

Brandon Ingram left the game early with an injury.

For Game 6, the Raptors have announced that Ingram is being listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Brandon Ingram (heel) questionable for Friday.”

Ingram finished the 2025-26 regular season with averages of 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field and 38.2% from three-point range in 77 games.

He made his second career NBA All-Star Game.

Lev Akabas of Sportico wrote: “If Brandon Ingram misses Game 6, that would be 5 All-Stars that missed a game already in just the first round The NBA Playoffs have become a war of attrition in the past decade”

Ingram was the second pick in the 2016 NBA Draft after one season of college basketball at Duke.

He has also had stints playing for the Los Angeles Lakers an New Orleans Pelicans.

Raptors This Season

The Raptors are in the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2022 season.

They finished this year with a 46-36 record, which has them as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

If the Raptors can stay alive on Friday, Game 7 of the series will be in Cleveland on Sunday.

Whoever wins the series will play either the Detroit Pistons or Orlando Magic in the second round.

The Raptors have been playing without one of their best players in the series, as Immanuel Quickley is dealing with an injury.

He finished the regular season with averages of 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 44.3% from the field and 37.4% form three-point range in 70 games.
