The Baltimore Ravens are looking to still add some talent to the roster, but the 2027 NFL Draft might give them exactly what they need.
Baltimore could go in several directions. The Ravens might target a wide receiver, an offensive lineman, or continue building their defense.
They may face tough choices depending on how the 2026 season pans out, especially with key starter injuries. One is star defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, who has a neck injury. If Madubuike can’t be the same player he was before the injury, the Ravens might have a clear option in the draft.

Sports Illustrated writer Gilberto Manzano shared his new 2027 NFL mock draft with some interesting results. Manzano likes the Ravens having the 17th overall pick, with the team taking Oregon defensive tackle A’Mauri Washington.
“The Ravens have uncertainty on the interior of their defense because it’s unknown whether Nnamdi Madubuike will regain his top form after a serious neck injury last year. Washington can provide depth at the position. The 6’3″, 319-pounder knows how to give opposing offensive linemen problems with elite power and burst.”
Oregon Ducks on SI’s Lily Crane recently wrote about Washington returning to school and what he means for the team. It would give the Ravens fan base a better idea on the kind of player he is.
“Washington’s shown year-by-year development every season in college. As a true freshman in 2023, Washington totaled two tackles and played just 73 snaps on defense. The next season, he appeared in every game for Oregon with 10 tackles, two pass deflections, a 72.4 pass-rush grade from Pro Football Focus and 344 total snaps.
The defensive lineman’s 2025 season was his best yet. On his way to earning All-Big Ten third-team honors, Washington started all 15 games and recorded 33 tackles, seven pass deflections, 22 pressures and 1.5 sacks.
If Washington continues the path of progression that he’s been on since arriving in Eugene, he could be in store for another All-Big Ten season and even rack up All-American honors.”

The Ravens also have Travis Jones and John Jenkins on the roster as well, so the defensive tackle position is in a good place right now. Jones recently signed an extension with Baltimore, so if things aren’t good with Madubuike, he can step up.
Washington would be a great long-term solution at the defensive tackle position for the Ravens. He does a lot for Oregon already, and his impact will be felt in 2026.
Depending on how Washington plays, he might even sneak closer to the top 10 in the draft. Baltimore would not mind having him land at whatever pick they get.
