American snowboarding superstar Chloe Kim — the girlfriend of Cleveland Browns pass-rusher Myles Garrett — is facing an uncertain road to the Winter Olympics after suffering an injury during training this week.
Kim revealed Thursday that she took what she described as “the silliest fall,” adding that she’s scheduled to undergo an MRI on Friday to determine the severity of the injury. While she didn’t offer many specifics, Kim struck an optimistic tone.
“The positive thing is, I have range, I’m not in that much pain. I just don’t want it to keep popping out, which has happened,” Kim said. “I’m just trying to stay really optimistic. I feel really good about where my snowboarding is at right now, so I know the minute I get cleared and I’m good to go, I should be fine.
“It should be fine. I’m just hoping that it doesn’t take too long, but I’m going to be chilling for the next little while.”
Like Garrett — who recently etched his name into the NFL record books — Kim is chasing history of her own. The two-time Olympic champion is attempting to become the first action-sports athlete to win three consecutive Olympic gold medals.
Chloe Kim Celebrated Myles Garrett’s Record With Browns
Reports linking Garrett and Kim date back to 2025. The two were first spotted together publicly in May at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, sparking early speculation about their relationship. At the time, neither commented on their status.
However, the Browns shared a video from their account this season that showed Garrett and Kim connecting on the sideline before a game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Kim wished Garrett good luck and joked about getting makeup on his jersey before the two shared a brief kiss.
“Myles playing on a whole other level since Chloe Kim been around, jus sayin,” the post from the Browns read.
Kim also congratulated Garrett on social media after he set the sack record against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18.
“Proud of you,” Kim wrote. “Baking [you] all the cinnamon rolls your heart desires!!”
Myles Garrett Still Basking in Record Despite Browns’ Uncertainty
Garrett recently shared a post reflecting on his record-setting season, thanking his teammates.
“It Was Written. Shoutout all my guys that were with me on this mission, couldn’t have done it without y’all. 25 loading… 95 out,” Garrett said.
While Garrett got the record, the Browns finished 5-12 and missed the postseason. Additionally, the Browns fired head coach Kevin Stefanski after the season ended, setting the stage for an interesting offseason.
The Browns have started interviewing prospective coaches, starting with internal candidates — defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees. Garrett was complimentary of Schwartz when asked about his potential as a head coach.
“I know he’s regimented and very efficient. That’s how he runs it on defense, so those two things would hold true,” Garrett said of Schwartz prior to Stefanski being fired.
With Garrett as the centerpiece, the Browns finished No. 4 in the NFL in yards allowed per game (283.6).
