Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is announcing news during the team's offseason, which is packed with changes.

Defensive end Aidan Hutchinson of the Detroit Lions has been in offseason mode since the team’s final game of the 2026-26 season, a win over the Chicago Bears on January 4, in a 19-16 final score.

But, that doesn’t mean Hutchinson is just resting. Instead, the beloved Detroit Lions player is getting ready to launch something significant during the offseason.

On top of this launch, Hutchinson also participated in the 2026 Pro Bowl games. The NFL Pro Bowl is the league’s annual all-star event, with both skills competitions and non-contact flag football. The game has the league’s top players competing in a laid-back, dare we say friendly setting.

Hutchinson was selected as one of the edges for the NFC team in the game. The Pro Bowl appearance was Hutchinson’s second, and he earned it after setting career highs in sacks, tackles and forced fumbles during the 2025-26 season.

He wrapped up the season with 14.5 sacks, 54 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, three passes defended and one interception, according to NFL research. Hutchinson also led the NFL with 100 pressures and his 91.9 overall grade from PFF ranked fourth among edge rushers. But, enough with the numbers. Let’s get into Hutchinson’s business venture.

Aidan Hutchinson of the Detroit Lions Launching Golf Brand

Hutchinson has been working on launching a luxury golf brand called “4th and Fore,” and he’s getting close to the official start of the brand. On Wednesday, February 4, Hutchinson took to his Instagram Stories to announce, “Vintage golf brand coming in the next couple months. Follow @4thandfore to stay tuned for the drop.”

“4th & Fore is a bold new brand from Aidan Hutchinson that fuses the grit of football with the finesse of golf,” the brand’s official website states. “Inspired by the high-stakes moment on the gridiron—4th and 4—where the game hangs in the balance and champions are made, this brand is about going for it when it matters most. It’s not just a play on words—it’s a philosophy.”

There’s also a section to sign up to be on the email list for 4th and Fore on the brand’s website. “Coming soon. Be the first to know when he launch,” it states.

Aidan Hutchinson’s Day Job is Still the Detroit Lions

So, Hutchinson has a not-so-secret love for golf, and now, he’s making it into a business. But, football is his day job, and the Detroit Lions are hoping to rebuild for next season.

During the 2025-26 season, Hutchinson became the first player in franchise history to log multiple 10.0-sack seasons through the first four years of his career. He was also named a finalist for the Associated Press Comeback Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 2025.

The Detroit Lions drafted Hutchinson in the 2022 NFL draft as the second overall pick. He, of course, hailed from the University of Michigan, so he was a hometown favorite.

Hutchinson is one of the highest-rated defensive ends in the NFL, and the numbers and statistics show that. He was sidelined for the majority of  2024-25 season with a fractured tibia and fibula that he suffered in the team’s Week 6 game against the Cowboys, but he was healthy again for the 2025-26 season.
