Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions are officially in their offseason, and the Motor City working to come back from a season which saw a 9-8 record that didn’t actualize their championship dreams. But, there are other dreams, and on Thursday, February 5, Goff’s wife, Christen Harper Goff, shared personal news with her followers.
Harper Goff, by the way, is a trouper. For someone who’s used to living in sunny California, it may have seemed like a lot to pick up and move to snowy Detroit, but she has embraced it. Harper has been open about her love for Detroit and Michigan on social media, and in an interview this fall, she discussed that love for the Mitten.
During an appearance on “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford & Frank” podcast in September 2025, Harper Goff talked about her beloved charity work in Detroit with Forgotten Harvest, a non-profit organization that delivers “144,000 pounds of surplus food per day to local charities five days a week, providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food free of charge,” according to their official website.
“I feel like the reach they’re doing, they’re touching so many people’s lives. So, for me, trying to get more and more involved with them, I try to go almost on a weekly basis,” she said on the show.
Now, Harper Goff is sharing news about one of her other endeavors: life as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. Goff has been in Sports Illustrated multiple times, and even though Harper Goff was pregnant during the magazine’s most recent shoot, that didn’t stop her from posing for the camera, and she appeared in the magazine’s latest edition.
Detroit Lions Quarterback Jared Goff’s Wife Christen Harper Goff Shared Sports Illustrated Announcement
On Thursday, February 5, Harper Goff shared her digital cover of Sports Illustrated. “The kind of confidence that carries. Christen Goff for SI Swimsuit’s February 2026 Digital Cover,” she stated on social media.
The post was shared by Sports Illustrated, and she was included in it as a partner. She responded saying that she “could believe it,” with several exclamation marks.
Jared Goff By the Numbers
Meanwhile, her husband made solid numbers during the season. For the 2025-26 season, Goff started in all 17 games and notched 4,564 passing yards, which was second in NFL and 34 touchdowns, according to NFL research. He also finished the season with a 68% completion percentage, a 105.5 passer rating and just eight interceptions.
“I think it is nice to finish on a high note,” Goff told reporters after the team’s final game of the season, which was a win over their former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears in the Windy City with a 19-16 final tally. “I don’t know if there is a reality of that carrying into April. I hope there is. I think it’s different circumstances than in 2022, when we were kind of on that long run, trying to make the playoffs and just missed it by a game.”
Goff added after the win, “This year, we had higher expectations. So, you come up short. It’s like okay, that win did carry over. And I do hope this win does carry into April and so on and so forth. You don’t know. Time will tell. We got the right guys in the locker room. They are about the right stuff and I think to answer it, it feels good to kind of get back to who we are and see it in live speed, reality, and see it happen.”
