How to Watch Lions Games as Cheap as Possible

If your goal is to watch every Lions game at the lowest possible total cost, here’s our step-by-step recommendation on what to do:
- Before the Fox games (Week 15, 18), sign up for a different free trial of Fox One or Fubo “Pro” or DirecTV Stream “Entertainment” or YouTube TV “Base Plan”
- If you don’t have free trials available, sign up for Fox One for $20 per month.
- Before the Week 14 game, sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime.
- If you don’t have the free trial available, sign up for one month of Prime Video for $9
- Before the Week 16 game (CBS), sign up for a free trial of Paramount+ “Essential” or Fubo “Pro” or DirecTV Stream “Entertainment” or YouTube TV “Base Plan”.
- If you don’t have free trials available, sign up for a month of Paramount+ “Essential” for $8
- Before the Week 17 game, sign up for one month of Netflix for $8.
That’s it. Depending on the free trials you have available, and the way you time them out, that’s somewhere between $8 and $45 to watch every remaining Lions game from in market.
Also note: You can sign up for NFL+ for just $7 per month and watch every single Lions game (both in market and primetime). However, you can only watch games live on your phone or tablet. They’ll be blocked (until they’re available as replays) on your TV or PC.

This one’s pretty simple: If you live outside of the United States (excluding China), you can sign up for NFL Game Pass on DAZN and watch every single NFL game live.

How to Watch Lions Games With as Few Streaming Services as Possible

If you aren’t as concerned with price and simply want to minimize the amount of streaming services you sign up for, sign up for one of these:
All of these will give you access to dozens of live TV channels, including CBS, NBC and Fox in most markets.
You’ll also need Netflix for the Week 17 game.
All of the aforementioned live-TV streaming services offer first-month deals, and there are free trials for Fubo, DirecTV Stream and YouTube TV available if you want to mix and match to cut down the total price a bit.
But if you simply want one service for the rest of the season, we would go with Fubo.
Out of Market
For the out-of-market fans, this option isn’t really different than the one above. You’ll need NFL Sunday Ticket to watch every non-primetime, out-of-market game that is televised on CBS or Fox.
That leaves the Week 14 and 17 primetime games, for which you’ll need Prime Video and Netflix, respectively.
