The Green Bay Packers made 10 additions to their roster through undrafted free agency following the 2026 NFL Draft. Through initial reports, the Packers are making the biggest financial commitment in undrafted free agency to linebacker TJ Quinn.
NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported Green Bay agreed to sign Quinn with a base salary to $150,000 base salary. The deal will also include a $15,000 signing bonus.
The full contract details for every undrafted free agent heading to Green Bay are not yet public. But including last year, only one other Packers undrafted free agent has been more expensive than Quinn.
“The Packers seem to really like Quinn. He received a $15,000 signing bonus and $150,000 in guaranteed salary, according to Aaron Wilson. For perspective, those are the same numbers that Nazir Stackhouse, Green Bay’s most expensive undrafted free agent signing from last class, signed for,” wrote SB Nation’s Acme Packing Company’s Justis Mosqueda. “Behind Stackhouse ($165k) were Jamon Johnson and Johnathan Baldwin at $115k.
“Those were the only three players in last year’s undrafted free agent class who got more than $15k guaranteed.”

Compared to other teams, a $15,000 signing bonus isn’t a huge amount for an undrafted free agent.
But based on the money the Packers have historically used to sign undrafted free agents, Quinn’s total contract is significant.
The linebacker was a top 30 visitor for Green Bay during the 2026 NFL Draft process. He’s a quick but smaller prospect at his position.
“Quinn is an undersized linebacker at just 225 pounds and coming in just over 6’0”, but he ran an elite 4.52-second 40-yard dash at his pro day after not being invited to the combine,” wrote Mosqueda. “He was a three-year starter with Louisville, where he spent his entire college career, and was named an All-ACC player in 2025.”
While playing four seasons at Louisville, Quinn registered 289 combined tackles, including 15 tackles for loss in 54 games. He also had five sacks, seven pass defenses and three interceptions.
As a senior, Quinn posted 95 combined tackles, including eight for loss with four pass defenses, three sacks and two picks.
Green Bay’s 2026 Undrafted Free Agency Class
According to 247 Sports’s Packer Report’s Zachary Jacobson, Green Bay added 10 undrafted free agents following the 2026 NFL Draft.
Quinn was the top defensive prospect. The Packers, though, signed only three defensive players in undrafted free agency while adding 10 on offense.
The most notable free agent the Packers inked in undrafted free agency was Virginia Tech quarterback Kyron Drones.
The former Hokies signal-caller is a long shot to make Green Bay’s roster. But there are traits to like with the Packers searching for a new backup quarterback this offseason.
“Drones is far from being a lock to make the roster. He does, however, possess the same kind of skill-set that the Packers have had behind Love in the form of Malik Willis over the last two years,” wrote Heavy Sports’ Evan Massey.
“Throughout his entire four-year college career, Drones threw for 5,784 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 19 interceptions. He completed 58.3 percent of his passes and ran for 1,847 yards and 22 scores.”
The Packers will either host their rookie minicamp this weekend or the following weekend. The team’s OTAs with the full roster will begin on May 26.
