The NFL world continues to wait while Travis Kelce decides whether he will return for another year. After 13 seasons in Kansas City, he’d only re-sign with the Chiefs if he chooses to keep playing.

On the latest episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce gushed over the Chiefs bringing back Eric Bieniemy as their offensive coordinator. Bieniemy previously occupied the role from 2018 to 2022 and worked as the Chicago Bears‘ running backs coach this past season.

“I think it’s great,” Kelce said. “I think it’s a marriage that’s gonna pick up right where it left off. E.B., he and who he is as a coach, you can see kind of his personality, what he brings to the table in that Chicago team.

“I know (Bears head coach) Ben Johnson has his own version of that. He’s a very tough guy. And what he did in Detroit, he brought over as well. And you can see those running backs over in Chicago and their body of work was definitely an Eric Bieniemy style of football, man.”

“I can’t wait to see him back in the building, man,” Kelce added, which immediately raised some eyebrows. “He’s one of my favorite coaches of all-time, one of my favorite people of all time.

“I’ve had so many unbelievable growing moments under him as a player, as a person, and I just love the guy. And it’s gonna be awesome to see him back in the building and see him back wearing the Chiefs logo, baby.”

While numerous fans and analysts believe Kelce’s comments hinted at a rumored return, the 36-year-old’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, received some incredible news.

Taylor Swift Is the Youngest Woman Ever to Be Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame

While the 11-time Pro Bowler is a shoo-in for the NFL Hall of Fame, Swift is set to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The 2026 announced their nominees for the prestigious honor in October. The Songwriters HOF states, “A songwriter with a catalog of notable songs qualifies for induction 20 years after their first commercial release of a song.” Swift’s first commercial release, “Tim McGraw,” dropped in June 2006, marking 2026 as her first year of eligibility.

At age 36, she’s the second-youngest inductee in the HOF’s history, as Stevie Wonder received the honor at 32 years old. However, she’s the youngest woman to receive the honor. Other inductees this year include Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, and more. The private award ceremony will take place on June 11 in New York City.

Travis Kelce Joked About Taylor Swift’s Song ‘Wood’

Swift’s latest studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” was largely inspired by her future husband. The album’s latest single, “Opalite,” a nod to Kelce and his birthstone, became the fastest non-single in history to reach 100 million streams on Spotify.

The track “Wood” caused a stir due to its not-so-subtle reference to the tight end’s body. The topic came up during Wednesday’s podcast episode after a fan suggested they name their merch, “New Heights of Mandhoodie.”

Both Travis and Jason seemed confused until producer Brandon Borders then chimed in. “It’s a Life of a Showgirl reference, come on,” Borders said. “New Heights of manhood,’ it’s the time you were referenced in the album.”

Travis admits, “I didn’t understand that. Taylor’s gonna kill me for not knowing that!”
