The Kansas City Chiefs‘ 2025 season isn’t going exactly as planned, with the franchise starting 0-2 for the first time under quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes is doing everything he can to put the offense on his back while playing without wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice. He completed 21-of-32 passes for three touchdowns and two interceptions against during Kansas City’s 20-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.
The Chiefs can’t seem to get their run game going either. Through two weeks, Mahomes leads the team in rushing with 123 yards. Cheering Kansas City on at Arrowhead Stadium during the Super Bowl LIX rematch, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and the couple’s children.
While their eldest kids, Sterling Skye, 4, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 2, have attended numerous Chiefs games, the home opener marked baby Golden’s first regular-season matchup.

After the game, Brittany hosted a star-studded 30th birthday party for the three-time Super Bowl MVP. While hosting a celebration immediately after a loss may seem ill-timed, given the Chiefs’ weekday practice schedule before facing the New York Giants in Week 3, Sunday evening was probably the best night to celebrate.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, attended the party at 1587 Prime, as did country star Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn.
The Chiefs official social media account celebrated Mahomes’ birthday with an epic tribute video on Wednesday, September 17, his actual birthday. Celebrities chiming in to celebrate the two-time league’ MVP turning 30 include David Beckham, Heidi Gardner, Peyton Manning, Rob Riggle, and more. The video ends with Bronze sweetly singing “Happy Birthday” to his dad and Brittany saying, “We love you.”

With Mahomes’ actual birthday falling on Wednesday, Sept. 17, Brittany sent a heartfelt message to her husband to mark the occasion.
She shared several photos from the party and wrote, “Happy 30th Birthday!!! You are so special to us, and we love you to forever and beyond! The way you love us is so comforting and the way you go about life is just so inspiring! Keep being YOU🤍.”
Fans first saw images from the birthday bash after Brown posted a photo with Katelyn, Mahomes, Brittany, Kelce, and Swift and wrote, “happy birthday Pat & congrats TT ❤️ thanks for hosting us Britt 🙏🏽.”
Mahomes’ 30th birthday also marks the day 1587 Prime opens to the public. Kelce and Mahomes’ American steakhouse is located in the Loews Hotel in Kansas City.

Before the Chiefs‘ 2025 season kicked off, Brittany jetted off to Tennessee on a private plane with friends to ring in her 30th birthday. Lyndsay Bell, whose husband, Blake Bell, is a former tight end for the Chiefs, Miranda Hogue, Cass Greinert, Chestley Strother, and Swift joined the festivities in Nashville.
Fans immediately noticed Swift, 35, was wearing her ruby “T” necklace in the photos.. The “Karma” singer first debuted the custom Lorraine Schwartz chain around her thigh at the 2025 Grammys in Los Angeles. She then wore the leg chain as a necklace to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, confirming the “T” was a nod to the guy on the Chiefs.
