For Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the team’s disappointing 6-11 season might’ve marked his last year in the NFL. Kelce discussed his potential retirement decision on the most recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“[I’ll be] just being a regular human for a couple weeks, maybe a month or so, trying to figure out what I’m gonna do next in terms of my future in football,” he said.
“I’ve talked to a few people in the facility already, having the exit meetings and everything, and they know where I stand, at least right now. There’s a lot of love for the game that’s still there, and I don’t think I’ll ever lose that.”

The 36-year-old plans to talk things over with his family and friends, and of course, his fiancée, Taylor Swift. Fans hoped to see Swift at the Chiefs’ season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders, but she did not appear to attend.
Kelce and Swift have kept a low profile since what might’ve been the final NFL game of the future Hall of Famer’s career. However, the pop star joined friends in Los Angeles over wild-card weekend.

Danielle Haim, Alana Haim, and Este Haim, the latter of whom tied the knot with Jonathan Levin with Swift in attendance on New Year’s Eve, were photographed leaving Birds Streets Club on Friday night with loaves of the singer’s famous homemade sourdough bread.
Sombr, née, Shane Michael Boose, also exited the restaurant holding a fresh loaf with personalized stickers that read, “Original Sourdough” and “Are you bready for it?”
Swift was not photographed leaving the restaurant, but the personalized sourdough bread gifts gave her away. The 14-time Grammy winner handed out homemade loaves of bread throughout her press tour for “The Life of a Showgirl,” her record-breaking new album.
Jimmy Fallon gushed over the singer’s baking on Instagram after she appeared on his late-night talk show. He captioned the post, “Not gonna lie: Taylor actually makes the best sourdough. Thank you @taylorswift!!!” Kelce commented on the viral post, “Hahahaha let’s gooooo!!! 🔥🔥🍞🍞.”

During Swift’s special guest spot on “New Heights” in August, she spoke about bread-making skills.
“I’d say all my hobbies could be categorized as, like, hobbies you could have had in the 1700s, you know? Like, I get all my granny [expletive]. We’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life,” she admitted.
“The sourdough’s taken over my life in a huge way. I’m really talking about bread 60 percent of the time now.”
During a “New Heights” episode last month, Kelce proudly revealed on his podcast that one of the best gifts he gave Swift was a bread slicer. “She’s been throwing together so much [expletive] sourdough. I’ve got the best gut health there is. I love you, Tay,” he added.
