The Kansas City Chiefs look to finally get in the win column against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.
After falling 20-17 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce took responsibility for his role in the loss. While he recorded four catches for 71 yards, his goal-line fumble led to the Eagles‘ game-winning touchdown.
Kelce said of the fumble on his “New Heights” podcast earlier this week, “It’s one of those plays where it happens bang, bang, and I know that that’s the window that it needs to be in… I just got to be able to get my head around right now so that I don’t put myself in a position to let the ball surprise me like that.”
“It’s frustrating, man. I’ve scored on that play a million times in my life. It’s something that should have never happened and then it cost us big time and that [expletive] hurts, but we’ll get it fixed.”

Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, attended the Chiefs‘ home opener at Arrowhead Stadium; however, she avoided the jumbotron. While she only attended games at Arrowhead Stadium last season, there was hope she’d make her way to East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday, September 21.
Swift attended the Sunday Night Football showdown at MetLife Stadium when the Chiefs took on the New York Jets in Week 4 of the 2023 season. While the 14-time Grammy winner did not appear to attend the primetime showdown, the Giants still had fun with their “Taylor Cam.
The Giants Teased Taylor Swift’s Attendance Before Showing Lawrence Taylor On The Big Screen
NBC hyped up Swift’s possible attendance on Sunday Night Football by posting images inspired by her upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” The network’s official X account posted, “We’re back in our ✨primetime era✨ 13 days till the album drop… 0 days till SNF.”
While fans eagerly awaited to see if the pop star arrived, MetLife Stadium started playing a “Taylor Cam” video, which immediately turned some heads. While Swift’s 2014 song “Welcome to New York” played in the background, the camera scanned the crowd and up to a suite before showing Giants legend Lawrence Taylor smoking a cigar.
The video immediately went viral on social media as fans enjoyed seeing the Hall of Fame linebacker smoking a cigar and jamming out to Swift’s song. One fan posted, “Some ask…. Can you smoke at a Giants game ? You can if you’re LT 🏈👍👏.” One woman wrote, “Oh this is hilarious.”
Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Plan To Get Married After The 2025 Season Concludes

Kelce revealed on his podcast that wedding planning is the “next step” after proposing to Swift. A source recently told US Weekly that they are “still in the very early planning stages. There is no venue or location set yet.” However, the big day is “likely going to be early next year.”
While Swift prepares for the Oct. 3 release of her next album, the 35-year-old is multitasking. “She’s having so much fun researching venues and locations,” the source added. “She’s in the ideation phase and enjoying it because she’s so creative.
“They don’t want to have a big, over-the-top wedding with a ton of people. It will be private with friends and family, not a ton of celebrities or random people. It will be meaningful, and they will be surrounded by people who are special to them.”
