A Kansas City Chiefs insider has revealed a new detail about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding date.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs are getting married, and the two have been busy planning a wedding together. Plus, there’s the little tidbit that Kelce just announced he’s coming back to the Kansas City Chiefs for another season in 2026.

So, one of the questions people are asking is, “What’s the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding date?” Of course, these two aren’t going to announce it to the world, because they’d like to avoid have cameras sneaking into the ceremony and reporters all around. But, an insider from the Chiefs is shedding light on when these two plan to get married, and it may be sooner than you think.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Wedding Date News

On Tuesday, March 10, Kelce appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and was asked about not only his return to the NFL but also the status of his wedding with Swift.

ESPN’s Chiefs insider Nate Taylor reported on the appearance, and in a feature for ESPN, he laid out how Kelce talked about Swift inspiring him to return to the NFL, because they both share a passion for their craft.

“We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” Kelce said of his future wife, Taylor reported. “It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and, on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”

As for the wedding date, Nate Taylor dropped the news that the two plan to get married “before training camp.” Even though the Chiefs haven’t announced dates for their 2026 training camp yet, it usually starts in mid-to-late July, and last year’s camp started around July 22. That would line up with Swift listeners hoping these two would get married on June 13, 2026.

“Of course that’s motivating,” Kelce also said on the show. “That’s motivating for anybody to see, let alone my fiancée, knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me.”

Kelce added, “Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done, either.’ I’ve still got some ideas in the back of my mind and still got some juice left to play this game.”

Taylor Swift Continues to Rule the Charts With ‘The Life of a Showgirl’

Swift is still releasing singles from her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which arrived in October 2025. The album had the largest first-week sales in modern history, according to Billboard research, and sold more than 4 million equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week with 3.479 million in pure sales. It was a record-breaking showing and pushed her past the previous record held by Adele.

Now, Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” song off the new album has remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for more than 20 weeks, according to research from the industry outlet Chart Data, and was No. 1 for 10 weeks. Plus, Swift’s second single off “The Life of a Showgirl,” the track “Opalite,” has officially surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify.

On Tuesday, March 10, Swift also released her third single off the album, “Elizabeth Taylor.” As of Tuesday, it sat at 308 million streams on Spotify.
