Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming nuptials is easily the most highly anticipated offseason event.
After announcing their engagement in August 2025, the famous couple didn’t immediately jump into wedding plan mode. Kelce remained focused on the NFL season while Swift promoted her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
After the Chiefs star announced his decision to return and play for the 2026 season, the window of when they can officially tie the knot became much smaller.
Reports swirled for months that Swift and Kelce planned to marry on June 13 at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. With 13 being Swift’s lucky number and the date fitting with the Chiefs’ offseason schedule, everything seemed to line up.

However, that report was shut down earlier this month. Tara Guerard, founder of Tara Guerard Soirée, revealed on Instagram, “I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island! Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend!”
Page Six then reported that Swift and Kelce plan to wed in New York City on July 3, which came as a surprise.
While certain reports about the location and date are planted and could be a ruse to protect the couple’s security, the tight end shared news that all but confirmed there’s no June 13 wedding.
Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce Plan to Do a Live ‘New Heights’ Show in LA on June 15
Travis and his older brother, Jason Kelce, are doing a live “New Heights” show in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theatre amid the World Cup on June 15.
“We’re taking our talents to the West Coast,” Travis announced.
“We’re talking surprise guests, big time audience interaction, all the ‘New Heights’ energy live in front of a crowd,” Jason added. “Team USA is kicking off the World Cup in LA, so we gotta be there to cheer ’em on.”
Travis added, “I can’t wait… It’ll be a blast… We’re going to have a bunch of games, a whole bunch of guests. It’ll be another electric evening for the live shows, and we’re pumped for it.”
There is no world where Travis and Jason, likely the best man, are performing a live show two days after what’s predicted to be the wedding of the century. One fan commented on Instagram, “Wedding def won’t be June 13th then lol 🥳.” Another fan wrote, “I thought that tooo 😂😂.”
Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Did Not Make Wedding Guests Sign NDAs
While promoting “The Life of a Showgirl” album in October, Swift suggested the wedding would be huge. “I’m so excited about it,” she revealed on The Graham Norton Show.
“It’s going to be fun to plan, because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount of people and people are on the bubble—and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there.”
After Norton scored an invite, he noted on the Waging On podcast in January about how he signed “so many” non-disclosure agreements regarding Swift and Kelce’s wedding. He later clarified that the comment was made in jest.
“I said that as a joke on the podcast, I said, ‘Oh I’ve signed all these NDAs,’” Graham explained during an Advertising Week Europe presentation March 25, The Independent reported. “And then it started getting reported as a serious thing in America. I didn’t say cut that out because I thought it was so obviously a joke.”
