Travis Kelce is offering fans a rare glimpse into his life at home with fiancée Taylor Swift. During a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about everything from sleeping habits to shared household moments, while also addressing uncertainty surrounding his football future.
Travis Kelce Shares Bedroom Routine on ‘New Heights’
Kelce revealed details about his nighttime routine while discussing his new partnership with Sleep Number on the Jan. 28 episode of the podcast.
“I’m a full [sleeper],” Kelce said, referring to mattress preferences. “I like the full mattress because I like to roll into it and out of it. And if I’m sitting up, we’re both sitting up.”
His brother and co-host Jason Kelce shared how his wife Kylie Kelce prefers a split mattress setup.
“It’s really good for getting actual sleep,” Jason explained. “Kylie likes to put her side up, especially when she’s been pregnant. She really enjoys the ability to sit up top. And for me, when I snore, she can just raise my side and I stop snoring magically.”
Kelce’s comments marked one of the first times he publicly discussed shared bedroom habits since his engagement to Swift.
Taylor Swift Talks About Life ‘Across the House’
Swift also offered insight into their living situation during her Aug. 13 appearance on “New Heights,” when Jason asked about her favorite segment of the show.
“I like ‘New News’ just because of the screaming,” Swift said. Referring to Kelce, she added, “I hear him screaming ‘New News!’ from across the house constantly. It’s like my favorite part.”
She continued, “He’ll be like, ‘New News! New News!’ And I’m in the kitchen like, ‘New News!’ So I love that just because of the bellowing of it.”
Later in the episode, Jason asked Swift how life has been since wrapping up her Eras Tour. The singer shared that she’s enjoying quieter, home-centered activities.
“I was on tour for so long and now I finally am not on tour,” Swift explained. “And it’s kind of great because I’m getting my hobbies back.”
She added, “Like when I was on tour, all I had the bandwidth for was, ‘What’s the acoustic mashup this week?’ You know, that was the only thing taking up my brain space.”
Kelce chimed in with a smile, saying, “It’s been so fun to see what Taylor actually gets into around the house.”
Travis Kelce Addresses Football Future After Tough Season
Beyond home life, Kelce acknowledged the emotional impact of the Chiefs’ difficult season, which ended without the team making the playoffs for the first time since 2014, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in December.
During the Jan. 7 episode of “New Heights,” Kelce admitted he’s taking time to reflect.
“It’s a tough way to go out, especially with the amount of success and the standard that you hold,” Kelce said. “I think, yeah, just being a regular human for a couple weeks, maybe a month or so, trying to figure out what I’m gonna do next in terms of my future in football.”
Kelce and Swift, who began dating in 2023, confirmed their engagement in August with an Instagram post captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” a playful nod to Swift’s song “So High School.”
